Eco-Fashion: Have you seen these sneakers made of trees?

Very few shoe brands in the history of fashion industry have had a rapid and steep success. But, Allbirds are an exception. Since they launched in 2016, they have remained minimal and eco-friendly. The moral value of the brand is that the sneakers are exclusively made of wool from sustainable sources. So, not surprisingly, they became the favorite choice of both tech geeks in Silicon Valley and many fashion influencers.

At this moment, Allbirds are ready for ''the next step'' (literally and metaphorically), as a new collection of sneakers has just released. According to the principles of the "sustainable footwear", the shoe fabric comes from wood pulp. In fact, this is made of eucalyptus wood pulp. The shoes have a cool texture which is not affected by the highest temperatures, which in combination with the mesh knit, allows the foot to breathe and not to sweat. Indeed, you don't need to wear socks with these sneakers and don't fear of feet odor.

Tom Brown, the co-founder of the brand, said that the main motivation wasn't only to ecologically sensitize consumers, but also to break down all the prejudices about the quality of these materials. Even the most indifferent to the ecology consumers will find that they have purchased an excellent quality product. The collection of these sports shoes has three models: runners, slip-ons and boat shoes (this line is new as it didn't exist in previous collections) and their price starts from $95.
